Rules

RULES

1. No harrassing, IC or OOC. Keep in character thoughts and feelings in character and out of character feelings to yourself. Tracking of IP's and godmodding characters are a direct cross of the line. Cross the line and you're gone. No warnings, no second chances.

2. Keep the game mature and fun. The point of playing a game is to enjoy it and have fun. Let's try and make it an enjoyable experience for all involved. This means respect fellow players/characters. Anything NSFW (and you should all know this by now) should be placed under a cut with a warning so that anyone who does not want to view doesn't have to and can just skip on by the entry! Also, and this should be a given, but pregnancies will last the full nine months. Marriages may happen overnight but divorces don't so keep it realistic. Drama llama's aren't welcome!

3. The point of this community is to meet new people and to write with other individuals. This cannot be accomplished when you write two people who are in a relationship together. (Not to say that all relationships are romantic.) By no means under any circumstances should a writer's characters date/be engaged/married to each other. If you are interested in a storyline, then by all means, ask for on in the many pimping communities. Do not take it upon yourself to fullfil your own storyline. That is boring and counterproductive to the point of role-playing. If we find out that you are playing two people in a relationship, you will be warned. If the matter is not corrected, you will be removed.

4. There is no update limit! This is not to say that you can't update but we don't want to force people to update when the muse just isn't there. But don't take this as an invitation to use this community as a home for your SL. Please be active through commenting, threading, talking on AIM, and posting on sub communities. We do, however, require you to make at least one post (the length/content is up to you) in either your personal character journal or in radiorandom to keep your spot. AIM is not required but it is preferable. If we don't see some activity from you every month then a warning will be issued on the 1st. A week after that you'll be gone if you haven't posted anything. If you haven't posted anything other than your intro you will be up for override/removal. IF you were added a week before 1st of the month activity checks then you are fine so long as you update before the next months activity check.

5. True celebrities only. No MySpace kids, relatives/girlfriends, or celebrities under the age of 16. Please don't mistake this for not wanting obscure celebs here (C'mon now, we're housing a jockey!) but they must be a celebrity in their own right either by music, acting, sports, or a combination thereof.

6. A first entry OR examples are required when applying, unless otherwise noted. Sometimes we will do a first come, first serve week. One or the other is fine but we reserve the right to ask for more. We also reserve the right to deny your application as we see fit, but we will let you know why you were denied and work with you to get accepted if you're still interested.

7. Please have some semblance of the English language. We're not expecting Shakespearean entries (we all make mistakes as we're only human) but use proper capitalization and punctuation. Also, to ensure that you've read the rules, please put 'Let the sunshine in' in the subject of your application.

8. Your username and AIM name need to have your characters name in it somewhere. A few numbers and underscores in your IJ name is fine, we're not nazis. Sexygirl1979 would not fly but something along the lines of zach is sylar would be totally cool!

9. If you need a hiatus just reply here and let us know how long you will be gone. Please do not abuse this feature.

10. When applying request membership to

radiorandom. If you've been accepted then you have three days to post an intro to

thesunshine. Failure to do so will result in being removed.
